US Bank just bought and took over Elan Financial/Firstar. I had a CC with Firstar, closed, balance of $350, one 90 day late entry. Today, on TU, I now have the Elan/Firstar entry and the US Bank entry both showing the same account number, balance, etc... what should my plan of attack be? Will this duplicate likely show up on the other CRAs reports soon? The duplicate dropped my score by nearly 20 points.
anyone? anyone? BTW, I got my reply to my goodwill letter to have 2 30 day lates removed from a Associates/Citi Monday and today the negative entry was gone from EX and EQ...Transunion has me a full 70 points below EX and EQ now...ridiculous!!!!
