Hi Everyone, When I looked at my Fiances equifax today I just noticed two inquiries pulled from Arrin collections on 2/11. Does anyone know who they are, and how I could get ahold of them - this in my opinion is an "unpermissable purpose" inquiry and I want to make them pay for it Thanks, Sal
Queen_bee, Hey thanks for checking for me - I couldn't find anything about them as well (I even looked for them on the BBB website) This really bothers me, how someone can pull your credit report, and not supply ANY information about who they might be. I'M PISSED! -Sal
Hi, Could it be that your fiance has applied for a job, and the inquiry is a job related inquiry? Just tossing that out as a possibility. But still, *TWO* inquiries on the same day?? Sheesh!! How about disputing the 2 inquiries as duplicates?
I did find this: http://www.attorneyshoppinglinks.com/law_13.html There is a company named Arrin in the debt asset location business (for the purpose of debt collection) according to this site.
You can try and search for them at collector.com Click on rosters, and Collection Agency Members. Also, if you call the CRA reporting it, they can give you the address.
Penalize you for seeking employment and jacking the cost of your insurance and loans. If anyone ever deserved to get screwed it's those seeking gainful employment RIGHT? Ya see there ain't no way scoring and reporting can be a racket is there?
Re: Re: Arrin Collections Since you made these comments quoting my post, I feel compelled to reply.. Where did I ever indicate that it is all right with me to have an inquiry pulled for a job search? I just pointed out that inquiries for job search are deemed legitimate business purposes, that's all. It's a fact, and individual opinions about it do not enter into the picture. Please do not pigeon hole me into supporting something which I never did say. Sincerely, -- lakpr
