These jerks pulled two hard inquiries on my Trans Union credit report on an account they have on me which is 16 years old. Two inquiries in two days. Feb 18 and 19.
They did the same to me and I know for a fact I don't have any account with them. I would demand validation, including a signed application, statements, etc. When they can't produce it (they're terrible recordkeepers from the investigation/research I've done)...sue them for 2 non PP pulls. That's what I did...in federal court no less.
The same jerks pulled a hard on my transunion on Feb. 18th as well. I sent off a "send me a reason for an inquiry or a $1000 check." They sent me a letter about a 8 year old account with an amount for paying it off. Arrow must have purchased some old crap accounts that week. I assume that I should follow the same advice that you mentioned for the first post. BTW, have you gone to court for your case yet?
Arrow Financial pulled a hard on my TU also. I wrote the bureaus but received a settlement offer Arrow Financial Services LLC on behalf of a company called FNB-Marin. I've never heard of either of these companies and never had a relationship with them. What should I do? I'm freakin' pissed!!! CardKid
Same to me. They used a different address each time so I think they are doing skip tracing on some old accounts. TU refuses to delete one of the INQ as a duplicate. I'm gonna have to get tough on this.
