I'm curious how she got a $7,500 CC limit making $7/hr?? I make $75,000 a year and damn near cant get a Target Visa, much less Citi!

IMHO, I think pulse is just simply starting up trouble. I don't beleive any of this is real!

It can happen with a low income, though it takes a while and it takes very good credit.

I have $58K in total credit with a relatively low income - and I got this high only b/c of the "tricks" I learned on CreditNet. But now, I have met my ceiling, which is fine. Most Americans don't negotiate their cards like we do on this board.

I sadly agree with you that this is a troll post. I wish that it had been genuine, as some important points were raised...

She said she has $40,000 on 9 cards. (Sounds like my story.) And yes, the CC deserve some of the blame. I had 6 major cards in my name, yet was a stay at home mom, yet i was offered a $5000 limit, then another... and another...

Even with 5 charge offs on my CR, i get offers in the mail weekly. Last week there were three: citibank, captial1 and first usa. I have 2 citi and 1 FUSA chargeoff and they send more offers? Get real. It's been like this for over a year - companies we couldn't pay send us pre-approved applications.

One week when ATT Universal in house collectors were calling constantly, i got 3 preapproved offers from them. How stupid is that?

7300 was what the CA wanted, her charge off was 5000.

    That much is believable.

Wow, this post has gotten LARGE! LOL. About 100 or some odd posts ago, I wrote to Pulse and let her know of my regrets for her. But after the careful disecetion of her 75 posts on CN, I have determined her to be one of the lamest people ever and just can't be for real.

I agree with another poster that this could have been a very valid thread if we weren't dealing with Pulse.

Arrow may have gotten their crap together in the past 2 weeks or so after being harrased by us so much, but they are not that speedy.

    This thread is a joke.

    Rblues,

The ultimate irony of this thread is that it IS a good thread. Under the law of unintended consequences, our little TROLL has sparked a great debate, and some people that may have used validation in an inappropriate situation now will not.

The net results of Pulses (our favorite CA poster child) posting is that FEWER dollars will be collected from people using the wrong techniques from our arsenal of tactics. I thank Pulse for making us very aware of how dangerous a little knowledge can be, and for reminding us that we need to think through our strategies before we use them.

I wholeheartedly agree JohnM. Pulse has actually done us a service by showing us the holes and pointing them out to the hundreds of newbies that show up weekly.

This is a lesson learned to all.

$40k of debt? Sorry. I though it was only $5k or so. I don't remember seeing $40k. Perhaps she is getting her lies confused?

Yes, I concur. $7 per hour and $40k in debt. File chapter 7 before they outlaw it.
