I am PISSES off because this came out of nowhere.. this isn't on any of my credit reports and the only amounts that I could think of that came close tyo that were my PAID student loans... whta GIVES!!! DAMMIT.. what should I do? shoudl I call them back to get the OC info? and the CA mailing address to shoot a validation?
Send a cease and desist if you do not want to be called anymore and only want to communicate in writing. I think they only have one address/office so that will not be hard to find. Here are their numbers: (800) 279-0224 Toll Free (847) 557-1100 Phone (847) 763-0901 Fax
Arrow are pure X%@!! I sent them a C&D, well they kept calling me, three or more times per day, and I even told them, you have a C&D on file, I have the green card, and that they were continuing to rack up violations every time they called me, and they didn't seem to care. I faxed them a copy of the C&D and the green card proving they received it, along with a list of every person's name and time that they called me following my C&D. They haven't called me since, but it has only been about a week. I am still thinking on what I want to do with this, as the acct is not past SOL with the OC, and is pretty substantial, but they won't settle with me.
Arrow calls me now and then, even after the lady who called me the last time told me they knew about the C&D letter. Since then, I haven't received a call from them, but this time I'm prepared. You need to record it if they happen to call again. Make sure the tape references the fact that you sent C&D letters and that they received them.
