I am new to this forum and am begin to like this place. I used to have 4 cards when i was in US. They were easy to get when i was in university. I got one from Citibank, then Discover, then First USA, then another one i couldn't remember. All total up to around US$13,000. Later, i cancelled them all when i left.... In Asia, getting a card is not hard nor easy. If you work, you probably get one or two card. BUT i haven't found a card that really worth applying for. Anyone knows any credit card in Asia that rebates real money to the user???????????? As far as i know, most of them offer rebates as in Perks, Purchase Bonus, and points.
Have you tried JCB? The U.S. version offers $1 in cash for each $100 you charge within the billing cycle. The cash is applied to your account balance as a credit whenever you decide to cash it in. I would imagine this benefit is available everywhere? I really like JCB. They are very customer focused. Good luck!
The U.S. website is www.jcbusa.com. If you are not currently in the U.S., there is a customer service number you can call for info and I think a link to the international site. Hope this helps.
Re: Re: ASIA Credit Card When I applied for the card my credit was already repaired. I had scores over 700 so I'm not sure if this is a good card for rebuilding. You may want to do a search. If I remember correctly, someone asked a rep about the qualifications and they sounded pretty strict, even for the secured card they offer. I could be wrong. Give their customer service a call. They are VERY friendly and helpful.
