HSBC said no problem but I would like your SSN and address to make sure we get this off of your credit report. I said I didn't like giving out information and told her they didn't need that info. She then said there would be no guarantee they have the correct info for me and it "might" not come off. This was an old profit and loss settlement that was my wife's before we got married but I somehoe was added as an AA. Was this some kind of sneaky way of getting some info from me?
