    Dear Mr. Ford,

I hope you can help me. I have a complaint I'd like to register with you about the financing of a car made by Ford Motor Company. The VIN (vehicle identification number) is 4m2du55p3vuj48274.

My complaint is that i am paying to much for this vehicle.I have had problems with it sence i got it.I have had to spend $500 on this vehicle allready and only owned it two months. After the 2,500 mile warrenty i noticed a rats nest in the air filter.I changed that However after seeing that i knew that there wasn't any maintnence done to this vehicle.I have had to pay about $500 in maintnence cost.,Infact i was over the warrent by 300 miles or so.Now i thought that ford dealers would do the closes maintnence schedule before selling it.Infact when i bought it i had it for 4 days and had to return it.It was in the garage for 9 days.I paid over twelve thousand dollars to drive a loaner car. That was so depressing! It had a few mechanical problems (R exhaust manifold, Lose R Caliper,Transmission Service) but even failed Mass Inspection. Some people i talked to cant even beleive i bought it from Place Motors as they are a reputable dealer.I didn't even get a sorry from the owner after all that trouble.

As a result of this, I don't know whether I will ever buy a car from you in the future, and I don't know whether I can recommend your cars to people I know now.I should say the ford dealer.

Here's what I would like to see you do to provide resolution: After all this i would appreciate a lower A.P.R. or some kind of rebate to my account for the maintnence cost that i think should have been done exspecially after failing emmisions.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Sincerely,

You have not mentioned if it was a new car or a used. It seems like it was a used car bought from the dealer. Was it dealer certified or Ford certified used car?

It was a used car 97 Mountaineer and i bought it from a Ford dealer..They also have another little lot at the intersection with maybe 20 trucks..They have a sign there saying quality checked used cars. Now i wonder if that is for all used cars or just the ones there.Good question!

I hate to be negative, but I think your chances of getting the APR lowered on an installment account where you signed a contract are less than stellar.

You may just have to try to refinance.

I don't think you'll get very far sending that to Ford. I would try a nasty type letter to the dealer. You could always try help me Hank (ch 5 or7). As far as the inspection the dealer should have paid for all repairs for the vehicle to pass inspection (MA law).
