I just received a pre-qualified offer today for a MyPoints M/C...at the wonderful rate of 29.75%.

It is issued by Columbus Bank and Trust which I have gathered is Aspire.

It sure is nice to be able to shred these ridiculous sub-prime offers.

    EXPIRE VISA....

That must be their preferred card.

I gather you get points for using the card, AND, on the regular ASPIRE products, the default is 41%, not your preferred rate of 35%.
That could means big savings when you get the card and misuse it.

God - with the prime at 5.5%, MYPOINTS is making 24.25% before any fees!
    ASPIRE - 35% return! geez!

Columbus Bank and Trust - would we:
1- want to be in Columbus, GA
2- want to bank with these folks
3- want to trust them at 29.75% ?

    LOL - c ya dogman

Got this offer a couple of months ago. You forgot to mention the $100 annual membership fee! What a joke that one was.

HA!!! I live in Columbus GA!! (For now)

Let me tell you about Columbus GA and CB&T (more commonly refered).

Columbus, GA is 90 Sw of ATLANTA. It's a medium sized city that borders Alabama. Fort Benning, home of the Infantry also borders the city. It's a medium sized fort. There are three major employers here. Total Systems, Aflac and Blue Cross Blue Shield. They all pay low low saleries!!

CB&T has branches EVERYWHERE!! I mean Everywhere. You can't go 5 miles without running into one. They have the some of the highest transaction and account fee's. They finance mostly all the major bussiness projects in the city. So basically they have there hand in everything! They have expanded to other parts of Georgia as I've seen branches in the smaller towns in between here and Atlanta.

I don't bank there but I'd buy there stock, subprime seems to be the way to go to get $$$$ out of your account holders. For everyone on this board that is credit savvy... theres 10 more people who are carry balances on 29% rate cards and making late payments.
