I got a pre-approved application in the mail for a $300.00 credit limit with an annual fee of $150.00.

Are these people nuts??? I have NO BAD CREDIT and I have established credit!

$150? That's not bad when you compare it to First Premier and Centennial (check out the "credit cards" link at the top of the page):

    Account Set-Up Fee: $29.00 (one-time fee)
    Program Fee: $95.00 (one-time fee)
    Annual Fee: $48.00
    Participation Fee: $72.00 Annually

Annual Fee and Participation Fee??? According to my math, you can have a "prestigious" gold card for a mere $244!!! What they also disclose is that you'll have have a credit limit of $250 - that leaves SIX DOLLARS of available credit!!!

I can't believe these guys pull this kind of crap. I feel bad for those consumers who actually fall for it!

You could not take you kids to McDonalds and charge a meal, it would put you over limit the first month, LOL! Maybe you could take them to Dairy Queen and buy the smallest cones and a Blizzard, no that would max you out too!
