Are they Bankruptcy friendly? What are your recommendations about this card?

Are the affliated with Emerge M/C?

I don't know about BK friendly, but I kept my card through my ch7.

They're now a minimal operation, no CS operators. If I had a choice, I'd pick someone else. You can't call and discuss anything w/them.

As frustrating as Cap1 can be, there's someone to talk to.

This is the response I received (Applicant's name is different than that of solicited individual" I have a hypenated name that I did not use both could that be the reason? Do you think they would send me a letter to clarify this and recosidered me for the card or is it just a flat out denial? I'm confused.

Credit limit was $4,750 for two years until a few months ago, got a $500 increase to the odd sum of $5,250

APR has always been 15% - no way to ask for lower, they do it "proactively" - in plain english, whenever they feel like it. My guess is they feel like making less money.. never!

Not sure about your name/status message, I'd just call them and ask 'em to spell it out.

Yes, but you can't speak to a person. Best bet is PFB.

They are OK I guess, But one thing for sure, if you need to speak to a CSR, forget about it.

Live customer service is almost non-existent and if you *need* to talk to a CSR, be prepared for a 30-minute hold time and still not getting results.
