Does anybody happen to have a phone number for Michael Beach from Asset Acceptance? He's one of their lawyers and I spoke to him today but didn't write down his number. I need to get a faxed letter from him. Thanks so much!
He's in this office 586 939 9600 That's the front desk. When i was getting the fAx number, he was in meetings so she gave me the fax number of 586 446 7832. Good Luck...I've yet to hear back about my issue, got signed crrr. Loading up lawsuit truck.

I was beginning to think there was some conspiracy on the part of Asset because when I called the number at the top of the letters I've gotten (and the address where I sent my CRRR's) they first said "I'll page him" and hung up on me. I called back and they said "We don't have anyone here by that name." I was seriously starting to think something was up. Maybe Michael Beach was a pseudonym or something so they knew when someone called and asked for that name....... Oh never mind ;-)

Hi rblues, I tried but your email is not on. I'm not sure how to change that. Here's my fight with them in a nutshell. I was dealing with the office in Brandon, FL. I actually started in April 2001. They sent me a letter, I asked for validation then and again in June. I didn't get anything and let it go for quite a while. Then I found this board and started in on them again the beginning of this April. I had them on continued collections (lots of it) since they still sent letters though they now claim they sent a "printout" for validation back when I requested it in April 2001. They tried to say it can take a long time to get documentation from the OC so that is why they can't send me anything. I said "BS, you can't get any info because it's not mine, I'm filing the 14th if you don't delete everything" (tradelines and inquiries). Today he said OK. Let me tell you that you need to use anything you can with them. I really didn't remember the original validations I sent them but I knew I must have because it was listed on my reports as in dispute. (This was before this board and finding out I need to document everything). So I kind of bluffed like I knew what was going on and they actually sent me a letter outlining my whole case as far as when I sent them letters and the "printout" they claim to have sent (thanks for that info, LOL). When I asked for more substantial proof they of course couldn't come up with it. He said he is going to tentatively close the account but if they get info from the OC he'll send it for my review since I said it wasn't my account. I'm thinking I'll keep my lawsuit ready for that day ;-)
Thanks so much for writing that out Laurie! Sorry the e-mail wasn't on...thought I turned it on quite a while ago. Never said I was a tech girl! Anyhoo, what you are going through is very similar to what I'm going through. They have me listed for some account that I never had! WTH! Been trying to get them to validate. Now I see that it can be easier just to fax them and talk to this Micael Beach guy. They have been so frustrating. I can't stand them, and I want them off my report. Thanks again.
His ext is 7818, (586) 939-9600 I am going to Fed-Ex him an attempt tp sue if they don't delete the tradelines from my reports,
I got a letter from him saying that he would delete my tradelines when I sent a complaint to the AG in MI. He sent that letter to the AG and myself. It has been 9 months since I got that letter and he still has deleted. I sent him a letter via fax and I am awaiting a response. *shrug* Parul
