I spoke with one of thier lawyers and he was actually very nice (probably because they couldn't get any proof of an account and I was set to file tomorrow, lol). He agreed they would delete all tradelines and inquiries and would send me a letter to that effect. Now I just have to see if Experian is going to respond or if I have to file on them tomorrow instead.
Congratulations! According to other posters on this board they are a real pain. That makes it an even greater victory.
Kiyi, I actually started in April 2001. They sent me a letter, I asked for validation then and again in June. I didn't get anything and let it go for quite a while. Then I found this board and started in on them again the beginning of this April. I had them on continued collections (lots of it) since they still sent letters and now claim they sent a "printout" for validation back when I requested it in April 2001. They tried to say it can take a long time to get documentation from the OC so that is why they can't send me anything. I said BS, I'm filing the 14th if you don't delete everything. Today he said OK.
