I just had to share with you guys that Asset is gone off ALL 3 of my reports. I cannot tell you what a relief it is. They didn't fight it at all. I am so glad. I wanted to thank you guys. CNet and AoC has been so very, very helpful. I have had 17 total deletions and my husband has had 14 total deletions. I just wanted to thank you all.
Could you explain to me how you got rid of asset acceptence? What works? I have tried almost everything except pay for deletion...
Mongrol, It was really kinda bizarre. I got my first letter from them in June and DV'd them. I didn't even realize they were trashing my credit. Then I get all this false info that they were getting a judgment on me. It didn't happen. I did the 1-2 punch. They verified with the CRAs and never noted as "in dispute". But what was strange was before I could get my ITS together, they started disappearing one by one from my reports. I don't know how it happened. I'm just glad that it did. I've had a really rotten week. My grandpa is in real bad shape and he's in the hospital. He's taking a turn for the worse and I needed all the good news that I can get. Have you tried the 1-2 punch on them?
Sorry, Mongrol. It's when you send the DV letter to the CA and when you get the green card back, you immediately dispute with the credit bureaus. In accordance with the FCRA, they cannot verify with the credit bureaus without first validating to you. If they do, they are in violation.
what if I have previously disputed with the CRA's? They are saying verified... on whatever date... so I can't really dispute anymore... I first disputed as not mine... they came back verified
