My husband has a judgment for 9K and a garnishment from asset acceptance.

At one point they were getting 262 a week from him. This has since changed..because the employer was garnishing too much. (long story)

We just got our very first communication from them. It is a letter stating..."just a reminder... that according to our arrangement your payment of 262 is due December 10th"

We have no such "arrangement" and have never had previous communications with them.

Collecting 9K through garnishment will take them about 2 billion years because of a child support order.

    What is our next step?

as long as his employer is garnishing the correct amount, i would ignore the letter. garnishment payments are between the CA/OC and the employer.
