Assoc/Citi..strange

    I had a secured card from Associates National Bank from 1993-2000. The account is closed, but I just noticed on my report that it is now being reported as Assoc/Citi. I just thought it was strange that they would update a 2 year old closed account. Those who have Associates accounts may see it reported as Citi. I guess that is a good thing.

    They reported my ExxonMobil Mastercard as Citi/Assoc in my Equifax report. In my ExxonMobil Mastercard statement, it merged with Citibank (SD), NA.

    On EXP all my Associates gas cards are reported as Citi/BP. That gives me 4 BP accounts, LOL.
