ANBCC -- I had an associates visa; opened in 1997; I believe it was closed when I went into credit counseling in 1999. Removal was attempted by Lexington Law Firm, but they won't budge and this is screwing up all of my credit reports. I have 5 lates total 1-60 day and 4-30 day, with the last late being April 2000. The account was paid off May 2001, however my credit report notes that it was last reported April 2002 for some reason. This is my final step in clearing up my credit, has anyone been successful with this bank? How?
Multiple, multiple, multiple spam disputes. I have had two of three bureaus delete it. I have only Equifax still reporting it. I can't tell you how I did it--I just disputed it for any reason I could think of numerous times. Actually I went back to my file and looked it up. TU deleted it because I said it was a duplicate to the CA account it sold the account to. I don't think it was reporting as "sold/transferred" at the time. Lisa
Finally someone who understands how hard is to remove ANBCC s***. Look here: http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra...threadid=23823&perpage=20&pgnum=&pagenumber=1 and here http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&pgnum=&postid=161934#post161934 Sent the letter via PFB - still waiting ... Seems like no way of deleting it I hope someone had some luck and could advise us. Welcome to the club buddy. This is also my final step to a clean report. Until then I can forget about AMEX or even Citi AA.
Have you tried talking with someone at ANBCC Credit Reporting Dept. They purge their files after 2-3 years had no record of my account from 2000. I have a number if you are interested.
The thing is that I finally paid off my account in Nov 2001 (was closed by them on 01/2001) and kept reporting it until 02/2002. Then it stopped but they keep veryfing it until now I sure appreciate that but don't you think it is too early for that kind of move?
