Ok I called Associates to see what was up with their products and could I get one. Well Paulette wants to tell me how I should get a secured card and then I will be on my way. Well hoo-damn-ray! Uh, lady, I know this already. Then she says, do you wanna apply? Well Forrest Gump, why in the hell do you think I called ya?....so I politely told her, "Not worth the inquiry and happy holidays." Can someone with an Associates product tell me anything else I can do to get a BP card? Or what my crap needs to look like at least? Can anybody do Paulette's job better than she can?
I forget what you've got on your report Kitt. It's not that hard to get. Have you applied for the gas card? Is that the one your talking about? Get agas card, and you'll have their Visa within a year. It helps you get started, but they never let you out of subprime, you have to move on (I just did).
I guess I will try it online and see what happens with BP. I have Chevron - Not reporting yet. My student loan is positive. 3 Coll/2 other derogs on EQ and Positive Student loan/ Bally's/and 2 derogs (coll) on TU? Experian 1 settled account and 1 coll account and one other positive something that I am pretneding that I do not know what it is.
Thanks Breeze, but no cheers here !! I applied and it gave me the 7-10 days story. I am sure they checked EQF but even though my items are in dispute that means nothing? Another rep Maria said, well we won't know for 30 days! Yeah right! So a wasted inquiry!! Bummer! OOOOOOhhh I hate being declined!!!
Well don't jump to conclusions, now, like I said, it isn't hard to get. Maybe they will give you one with a tiny limit. And you can always ask for reconsideration if you do get declined.
