Has anyone on this board been offered this credit card? Its for a platinum mastercard with a 0 apr. on transferred balances until March 1,2003 and then its 10.74% after that. My credit is not good I do have a couple of cards visa and mastercard and I`m wondering if I have a chance to get this one? Its sounding too good......any input would be appreciated.Thank you

I get these "pre-selected" offers for ATT platinum every month like clock work. I have bad credit scores... no way they'd give me a platinum card so I toss it in the trash every time... Too bad, sounds like a good card> but, pretty sure it would take ace credit to get. If you don't mind the inquiry, try it- i'd like to know what it takes to get "in."

Sounded like a GOOD offer, but hubby got turned down ( January 3) for having having to high of balances ( including to much available credit!!). I learned there is a difference between preselected and preapproved.. Preselected _ they have your name and address. Pre- approved.. means they have a little more of your information.

    Meadowlark,

I got approved for this card two years ago with credit limit $4000 without any negative in my report. They pulled credit from TransUnion. AT&T Universal Card is issued by Citibank (SD), NA.
