I really want to apply for an AT & T Universal Card, because I think they will probably pull from TU. TU is completely clean. I was wondering if anyone have any thoughts on if it is better to apply online, or via phone with one of AT & T's publication promotional offer? The ones you find in the newspaper or with the coupon circulars. I am looking for every possible chance of getting an approval.
I applied online, and they did pull from TU. I didn't get instant approval though, I called them a few days later. I had to turn a copy of my phone bill, for address verification purposes. My CL is $3600. I just BT both of my other visas into this one. Bye bye providian and my 24.99%, hello 0.0% for 12 months!!
My FAKO at the time was 688, and I had 10 inquires. They gave me 2 hards though, when I got a CL increase before I activated my card. Wasn't happy about that, buy my own fault, I should have made a point to ask! G/L!
