    Newbie question:

I'll try to make a long story short. I recevied a civil summons from Weltman, Weinberg & Reis for Citicard. I am preparing my answer for the summons and I was checking my credit reports today and I noticed there was nothing on my credit report from CitiCard. There was a card on there from a long time ago that said Citifinancial that stated 0 balance and paid as agreed. I also noticed that WWR, did 2 inquiries on my report. I don't know what to think now. I am going to file my answer tommorow and then I am going to ask for discovery. I am completely perplexed and would like some feedback. I have been scouring all the credit boards and researching KY law. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I also know that WWR also has been sued numerous times.

Least that is good news if the creditor tradeline is missing off of the credit report.

Also if they get a judgment against you sometimes they can over look adding these to the credit report. I have 2 judgments and neither of mine are showing up on my credit report.

But it is in public records, and the judgments can still be found even if they are missing off of the credit reports.

Could be time barred. Check the SOL for KY on open accounts.

File a motion for a more definitive statement or a motion to dismiss based upon the SOL before filing an Answer. W,W, & R isn't the brightest bulb on the tree. You can probably Rule 41 them because they'll fail to respond.
