I placed a web order for AT&T Cellular Service last week for one of their incredbile free phones. Willing to suffer a hard on EQ since that is what I saw they had pulled on people before I went ahead and did it. They accepted the order online whereas they had given my wife's order online a notice that she had to place a deposit to get service. My order wasaccepted with no problems. Only to find out today that they pulled a hard on ALL 3 Bureaus and after all that, still send me an email telling me I need to place a deposit to get service... I told them they could take their phone and wrap it up nice and pretty for Christmas and just Keep It! 650 EQ, dont know the other 2, but pretty close.
Thats mad. I got a phone from them with no deposit about a year ago. My EQ was about what yours is. And they only pulled one hard on EQ. I did my order on the web too, but not directly through ATT wireless. I wonder if that had any effect on me. If you dont mind, how much were they asking for a deposit? I know they go as high as like 700, but some people get off for less than 400. Who knows, they must be using a RNG.
