At what point during the application process do creditors call you to verify your phone number or address? For instance, I applied for Providian in Sept. and have yet to receive my card. They said thos is the only thing missing before I get my card. And then I applied for Kay Jewelers card online on Saturday night and they called me at 10:30 in the morning on Sunday. She said she needed to verify the phone number before the application could go any further. What do you guys think? Does that usually mean you've got the card?
