Take a look at my FICO scores below... WHY would I be getting a mailing for a ATT Universal Platinum?

What is the FICO that is needed?

The min credit line is 500 and the max is around 50000

seems like a good card to get.

apr is 7.99% and I would get 15 months 0% on balance transfers...

I just don't get why they would be sending me an offer...

Should I try? (i'll get a hard INQ)

Mongrol does it say pre-approved. If it is a pre-approved they have no business pulling your credit. Also from your other threads, my scores are in the same range and I am not being offered didly.

Just because an offer is preapproved does not mean that they can't pull your credit. Preapproved just means that you meet screening criteria. They can, and most likely will, pull your credit report when you send in the actual application.

You can be denied on a "preapproved" offer. Read the fine print. It will say that they will pull your credit report and if you don't meet criteria you will be denied or offered an alternative card.
