To all the Chase Experts i have a few questions. Will they allow you to have more one card and how long afterwards do they allow another application? How are they with credit limit increases? How are they about product changes ? I like the Chase Shell Mastercard. Are they also good about lowering interest rates? Thanks in advance Cypri
The only answers I have are 1.) Yes you can have multiple cards, I do not know the limit though 2.) If you are approved for a card, you can apply for another 75 days later. (at least thats wat customer service told me)
APR for Chase Platinum can be negotiated down to 9.9%; But they won't negotiate while you're on a promo / intro APR. Therefore, when your promo / intro APR expires, have your permanent APR reduced before accepting any additional promo offers. I asked for a limit increase a couple of days after my card was approved, they granted it. Saar
I have 4 accounts with Chase. Limits vary from 10,000 to just under 15,000, is all about exercise. Rates vary from 3.9 to 7.9. www.creditsense.com
Thanks for the responses! Saar were you instantly approved and then requested a credit limit increase? I got my card through reconsideration. I would like to request a credit increase but I don't want to push my luck Cypri
I asked for a limit increase with-out a credit report...THEY SAID NO!!!! I thought it was STUPID to say NO, because they do AR'S almost every month!!!
Nope, I've never been instantly approved for a prime card. My Amex, Citibank & Chase cards all came after a long review. But a couple of days after Chase said I was approved, I called to apply for an increase. They've put in the request and approved it the next day. Don't be silly. What are they going to do, close your account for "premature application for a credit increase"? PUSHING is what this board is all about. Saar
