Anyone ever had an account deleted from your report without first paying it? Attention LLC is incorrectly reporting a medical bill on my report. Anyone ever filed suit against them?
I am dealing with them now. So far they have committed several violations. They are owned by West Corp. www.attentionllc.com They are not licensed in every state they collect in. Do your homework on them. Get violations, then they will go away.
They will not validate and they did not inform credit bureau that I was disputing. Only thing left to do - go see the judge.
I've had the same problem. They sent paritial validation, but in doing so violated HIPPA in a big way. I retained a lawyer, but we consumers have no private right of action under HIPPA. My attorney filed complaints everywhere, but that is all he can do. But we are exploring the possibility of filing a malpratice suit against the hospital and also naming Attention. They should get the letters this week.
