I'm not sure about this, but isn't the best value guarantee applicable only if the store you bought something from doesn't have a price guarantee? If the store has price matching or best price guarantee, does the AMEX guarantee still apply nowadays?
no, they do not cover if the store has an offer. I used to get tons back (over $250 last year) until they did away with internet ads (which sucks)
