Frankly, I think humblemarc is kidding himself if he doesn't think trolls won't exist on their version of a Utopian love fest over at their new bulletin board. Welcome to the Internet. I don't think I've ever seen a bulletin board that didn't have trolls. His post reeks of resentment and antagonism. And he is neither humble nor straightforward about his motives for posting here. But then again, that's just my opinion.

I'm not an old timer but I've been here long enough. I think the only thing alot of us resent is that this board is not what it used to be. Seeing as you've only been here since Jan 03 it may be hard for you to comprehend what alot of us that are still here are saying. I for one do not care for the direction of this board at this point. It bothers me that alot of new people are showing up here and trashing others when they have no concept of what is going on and no clue of how efficient this board used to be. It's sort of like showing up for your first day on the job and right away you think you know more than management.

Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

What makes you think I've only been here since January 3rd?

If you don't care for the direction of this board, either do something about it by affecting change or leave (and don't let the door hit you in the ass). You are not contractually obligated to lurk here. And I too don't appreciate it when people show up here trashing others (i.e. humblemarc, LKH, etc.), especially when they said their "final" good-byes a month ago.

Each of the so-called veterans had an opportunity to affect change on this board by staying here and expressing their opinion. Instead they got all pissy, took their bat and left in the middle of the game. They said farwell, if I recall correctly. Did they vanish as promised? No, they came back to fire some parting shots and/or market their new bulletin board (which frankly sucks). If they were smart they'd shut down their effort, quit their pouting, bury the hatchet and pretend like nothing happened. That would allow them to feel important again on this board, do some real good and affect some real change. If they don't want to do that and wish to build a new credit discussion group on their own...all the power to them. I wish them all luck. In fact, many of them I liked. But don't keep coming back to throw some crap up against the wall in hopes some of it will stick.

Then again, they weren't very mature about their covert meetings and departure; why would they change now?

I could not have said it better myself. I am amazed and confused at the change in atmosphere on this board in the short time I have been here. I understand why some of the former "Vets" or (elite, if you know the joke you know how people used to act on this board) have decided not to post much or at all on this board.

I wish people would go back to trying to help each other, instead of the nasty attitude that is prevalent in so many threads. â??Canâ??t we all just get alongâ? _ R King.

Since this got moved to the back burner (good move, CCN Steve) I will tell you this, the few who stayed are leaving now, and those of us who left before continue to help but we do it via email rather than deal with your kind of crap.

And for those of you who are looking for it, the URL for the board which buckets says "sucks" is in my signature. You're welcome there. And I am not trying to get anyone to leave CN. I put a lot into this board over the past few years, so did many others. It's all still there free for the taking.

With idiots like you, no wonder people here with knowledge are leaving, so tell me almighty one how LONG have you been here and under what name. Your username tells us you registered in Jan. 2003, and you sure act like your new, I have not seen you give any HELPFUL advice unless "don't let the door hit you in the ass", qualifies as credit advice.

This is the last time I will post on this subject as there are better things to do with my time, but take a look under my name for all my previous posts, you will see I don't get into these types of exchanges.

And by the way, you have no REAL CLUE as to why the others left, so you know what they say by ASSuming.

BOTTOM LINE: You must be a really big ******* to get my attention like this.

Jeese guys, cry me a river. No one said that your efforts over the past few months and years weren't appreciated. Get over yourselves already! It's a damn bulletin board, not real life. You you took as much information for your own use as you provided. There's no need to make a federal case out of this. You guys held secret meetings like a bunch of high school girls and swapped gossip, inuendo and your own personal disdain for the owners of this board behind the backs of everyone else. Then once the change in moderators was made, everyone got pissy and up and left. That's your own choice. But don't you think it is a little disengenuous to leave and then come back and whine some more to everyone else (especially since you all said it was final farwell) and/or market your new board?

Sure, the guys at CREDITNET.com made a dime off of you folks. The vast majority of you veterans who left are brilliant and dilligent folks. You put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the board. Thank you. But why act so immature about it? If you want to start your own board...go, but don't come back here and cry like a school girl and DON'T advertise here. If you want to contribute to the community you helped create and want to keep your other board to yourselves, that's fine too. But you veterans who supposedly left come across as very petty and very fake.

And by the way, I have done no damage to this board. I only comment on topics I am familiar. I'm not giving faulty advice. I'm contributing to the community. Are you? I'm sorry LKH if I didn't see your reply to my post. Believe it or not, I have a tremendous amount of respect for your opinion and the advice you have given here over the past two years, even if I don't agree with you leaving the board for what I deem very petty reasons. You were chiding George for staying here at this board, wondering why he does so with so much disinformation and I think you mentioned something about trolls. You know what post I'm talking about.

If you guys are going...go. If you want to contribute to both boards...fine, but then don't advertise here and don't whine. If you want to stay here and forget all of the B.S. from the past (what I think is the smartest move), then I applaud you. I just think that for a bunch of people who were looked up to by so many, you're all begining to be lumped into one bucket and you are all starting to look foolish and petty.
