I have had an account with Sears since July 02, when I recieved balance transfer rates of 9.9% fixed for the bt balance. Well, I decided to transfer my balances to Fleet at 0% instead of 9.9% Guess what, Sears pulls a soft inq on cr report and when I call in I cannot recieve a promotion nor do a balance transfer. The CS rep transferred me to an account manager. The account manager informed me that if you overall utilization is over 50%, new accounts established (less that 2 year history on an account) results in no balance transfer option. Thought I would share that with ya. Also, the manager informed me that the APR scale with MC ranges from good credit @11.49 to 22%
