I went back to the Lexington Law site to examine the layout and design. Does anyone know what program could create such a beautiful layout (ie. Microsoft FrontPage 2002)? Or, did they hire a techie guru to write the code?

I followed Jayson's link a couple of days ago. Is this site slick or what? I was impressed!

Hahaha!! I looked at the code to see if it showed who wrote it and on what - nothing there. Then, out of curiosity, I looked at the code for the board, and saw something that said "//browser got the sniffles" - cracked me up!!!!

What happens when your browser's got the sniffles??

Some of their site is done in Flash. Check out Macromedia.

I think it is an improvement to their old site. In looking around I noted this:

    Direct Demand -

"Effective immediately, Lexington begins the credit repair process by issuing demand letters to those creditors reporting disputed items on a clientâ??s credit report. Creditors must either delete the listing or prove their accuracy down to the jot and tittle."

If they are really doing this it is a change. Junum and Lexington, to my knowledge, have always maintained that they only dispute with the CRA's.

I have emailed to inquire on this, as one of their clients. Once I have an update I will post the info.

I think they used Dreamweaver 4 or MX, which is a web design program by Macromedia. Looks to crisp to be Frontpage. Someone said Flash, but I don't see any Flash banners or buttons, nor does it load in Flash. Pretty nice site.

To really answer your question they used PhotoShop (any version) for the photo and vector editing and either front page (any version) or Dreamweaver (any version) if you understand and write code it doesnâ??t matter what editor you use (Dreamweaver, Front Page, etc). What does matter is that you must have some artistically favorable ability to use your imagination .If you are new to the DHTML, php, ASP, JSP, etc world, then off the shelf software like Front Page and Dreamweaver will world for you. Which allows you to use templates that have been procreated Flash defines itself with layers, time, and animation. There is no Flash on their site.

    Thank you,

Thanks guys and gals! Check out the lead attorney's bio. That sounds like a stretch.

    From the site: http://www.lexingtonlaw.com/OurFirm.php?c=AttorneyProfiles
Perhaps most unusual is his experience in working with and training wild timber wolves, an interest he developed more recently.

    Hi Breeze,

What you noticed is the name for the piece of Javascript code our site uses to "sniff" out the visitor's browser type and version (i.e., Netscape, Explorer.) It is used primarily to determine which style sheets to load.

The code actually needs to be updated, as do the style sheets, so thanks for the reminder. :)

    Sincerely,
    pbm

I heard through the grapevine (background music, please) that Lex uses Softpress Freeway on the Macintosh to create their site:
