I noticed on one thread that you applied for BofA, and they pulled TU for you. I have a couple of Questions if you don't mind: What state do you reside? Did you apply online? What product did you apply for? What was your initial credit limit? Was TU your best report? What was your score at the time? I need one credit card that I know will pull TU. I want it for b/t only, not to use. Any help you can provide would be helpful, thanks in advance.
Terry, I appplied for BofA online and was instantly declined. I asked for a reconsideration from CS and was declined again. I was only able to obtain this card by writing via PFB and speaking with their executive office. They pulled TU for me, & I'm in NJ. I was eventually approved for their Platium card with an initial credit limit of $ 5,800. At the time TU was my best report with no negatives reflected. The only thing that reduced my score as far as BofA was concerned was the absence of a mortgage. For some unknown reason, my mortgage history is not reporting to TU, but I'm working on that and hopefully this will improve my score.
