Attorney Advice on Validation

    He said that validation does work for many people. But as I have discovered it's not a cure all. He also said that most attorneys "do not like" to take violation of FDCPA against CRA or CA with out a huge retainer.

    But if the account is not yours that is a different matter. He then recomends lawsuit.

    99% of the time the case gets dismissed and a settlement is reached for the debt. He said save your money on attorney fees and neg.a settlement from day one with th CA or OC.

    He also said that CA and CRA pay very well. He takes their cases all the time. And drags it out as long as possible. Causing more fee's for him and the consumer. And all for a settlement that could have been reached in the first place LOL

    You've created five different threads today about the same issue. Although us Creditnet addicts (lol) don't mind -- hey, another thread with which to indulge my addiction, heh -- it may make it difficult for some people to follow. I hope you're open to a old-timer's tip: Create a single thread about your issue, and then stick to that one.
