has anyone ever filed a complaint with the state attorney general? I while back, a kind fellow poster gave the website for the Division of Consumer Affairs, and it lists a number of complaint topics, one of which is credit cards. My current issue (besides my GMAC charge off and their rotten tactics) is a creditor named Gulf State, who entered an item on my report (wrong name, addy, etc) and cannot identify me in their system. I got a form letter asking me for verification info when I contacted them. I sent it back requesting info, and have heard nothing in over 6 wks..

Does anyone know what exactly the Division of Consumer Affairs does with this type of thing? I'm debating putting it in their hands....

If you are in Pennsylvania, please contact me about Gulf States. Mark Aronson mba9999@aol.com. I have posted about them at this message board. You can go to SEARCH and put in GULF STATES.
