I was hoping that someone can recommend me a lawyer in Austin, TX, who can help me vacate judgment on my report. I have my tickets to prove I was out of the country at that time, but I dont live in TX anymore. If someone is familiar with a lawyer in Austin, please let me know and I can use his services. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I need to vacate a judgement obtained against me in Travis County. The judgement date says March, but I was out of the country from November to April...I am figuring since I was never served, the process might be easy.
You were probably served you just never knew anything about it. The courts have their own version of the secret service.
Were you out of the country for military service? That was my understanding. Some states do not allow civil actions to be commenced against active military servicemen. It is worth looking into. Even Louisiana does not allow judgments to be entered against active servicemen.
Nope i wasnt out side the country on Military duty. This judgement is the result of a broken lease on my apartment. I had to leave the country due to a personal emergency resulting in the default. So, even though I wasnt served correctly or maybe not at all, I can not get it vacated?? Even if I pay it off in full This kinda sucks!!
