This might have been covered before but does anyone have a listing of or know of a bunch of cards that report the info to the AU that you have added to that account??? Any and help info is helpful. Thanks for the insight.

Been told Discover doesn't report unless you go joint.

They don't even request the SSN# of the AU.

My husband is listed as an AU on my AmEx, Discover, Chase MC, and HouseHold MC. It took some nagging to get the AmEx and HouseHold to be reported on his Eqifax, but finally got it to show up.

We are in the midst of changing him to a Joint Account holder on the Discover, Chase, Dillards and Home Depot card, as these 4 cards said that his credit score would not be a consideration in adding him as a Joint Account holder. I will not swear that they didn't lie to me, but I guess I will know in the near future.

Does Discover report for him as an AU?

Yes, I'm sorry, I noticed I wasn't clear in my reply after I posted it. Discover, AmEx, Chase MC and HouseHold all report him as an AU on all the CR.

My wife is an "AU" on DISCOVERCARD it reports.

A credit card company DOES NOT NEED A SS# TO REPORT OR TO ISSUE A CARD.

Not true. I'm AU on Hubby's discover (was girlfriend at the time). It reported with the very next statement.

Also, both my sons are AU's on Discover. They both reported right away. All the primary has to do is requested an additional card for that person.

I'm also reported as AU on:

    Citi WorldMasterCard
    Citi Signature VISA
    FIRSTUSA eCard VISA
Nordstrom (They actually report as "JOINT" without my even requesting it)
    SaksFith Avenue
    AMEX Optima
    AMEX Gold
    AMEX Hilton Honors

currently in my family these are AU accounts are:
    Cap One
(Chase MC ** be careful because they informed me that if the account is joint, they look at the other person's credit, so it might have a positive/negative effect on the account.)
    Sears
Providian (must be 3 mo old acct to report)
Discover (does not report actual cr.limit to EQ)
AMEX green card (usually reports slow/late to EXP

Was told these report AU's to Credit report:
    Target Guest
    Texaco/Citi
Bank of America reports if Joint Account
    Fleet
