I am an AU on two cards that are nearing their credit limits, that might be keeping my score down, but at the time she wasn't that close to CL and I needed some positive history.

If I call Texaco and Speigel to have me removed as AU will they automatically STOP reporting or delete from my report or do I have to dispute these off.

TU deleted them both, Experian said (in settlement) they can't remove them, only the creditor can.

I didn't ask Equifax because that attorney is a JACKASS!!!

    Christie,

I had two AU on my wifes card and she carried High limits and always had them charged up. I just disputed with CRA and they removed them..

you have to have the primary remove you. And if you get taken off the cards while they are reporting maxed out, you'll have to dispute them. I did this with my so and had to dispute the accounts to get them removed altogether. They just sat there for 6 months showing high balances even after they were paid off.

I have an AU question also. I just got added as an AU on a discover plat 10k. My question is, does this help my score or hurt it? The thing is, i've had 3 new accounts open within the last 3 months in addtition to the discover au. How will my scores be affected?
