When you are taken off or take someone off as an AU, does the whole tradeline disappear or does it show closed or something else? My dh and I have enough accounts now that we really don't need to be AUs on each others accounts and I wanted to see what would happen score wise if the AUs were taken off... one of the reason codes on my report is 'too many active accounts' and I'm wondering if they're including AUs.

    Good question Ozzy.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I'm almost at the point where I want to do the same.

    Bump...

THAT'S AS GOOD AS MY FAKE ONE~~~EXCESSIVE "CREDIT LIMITS"

If you are a AU and the account is closed. The entry will stay.

As for the FICO- I had this situation happened to me last summer. CE indicated that my score took a hit. Not sure if it was the reduced total credit, the closed entry or both.

    Best regards,
