I am new to this board but have been reading the good info on it for a few months now.I have 2 cc accounts belonging to my spouse that were charged off and showed up on my cr as joint. These were only authorized user accounts and I never signed anything on them. I sent disputes to the 3 cra's but all verified. I also sent crrr to the cc companys and havent heard back yet(about 3 weeks ago). I also had 2 others that were his and also charged off but listed as authorized user on the credit reports. I disputed with cra's and only TU removed. I sent crrr to cc company and got back letter saying they would remove any reference to the 2 cc accounts on my reports and would notify all 3cra's. Any ideas or help on the other 2 would be greatly appreciated by me,I now know they use this tactic to collect and its difficult to get the joint status reported correctly if they are after either spouse.
