I signed up for credit expert today. Experian says my score is 732. The claim the following as negative:

    1. Two or more applications for credit made in the last 2 years.
    2. Outstanding balances on your accounts are greater than the average in your credit category
    3. The average length of time since your accounts were opened is less than 5 years.

Outstanding balance is on my wife's card of which I am an authorized user. I think I am going to ask her to remove my name from the card.

How beneficial are authorized accounts when it comes to credit scores?

I have 6 authorized accounts from her and 4 accounts of my own. Her accounts are old accounts. mine are 2 years young.

I don't use the authorized accounts anymore. If I were to close the authorized accounts, would that negatively imapct my credit score. Are authorized accounts considered in credit score at all? Thanks.
