My wife got a Chase credit card last year and we were paying on it faithfully. In the section "Would you like any other cards" section my wife got me a card. Well according to Chase I shorted them a payment $2(My minimum was $16 and I sent $14). This shoratage in CC-land means that I have been 30 days late. They dinged my credit even though I was just a authorized user. I mean follow the logic here. If your company issues you a corporate CC(You are an authorized user) the comptroller of the company pays late. You check your reports and you are tagged with a 30 day late. I posed this question to the supervisor at Chase and she agreeed but she refered me to some P.O. Box to explain my case. Is this right?
Come on, a 30 day late for being $2 short on a payment? Even if you are able get it removed from your report for being an AU, it will still be on your wife's report. You need to get it removed completely. You should go to Planetfeedback.com and send them a goodwill letter. Tell them that you are dyselxic, blame it on a clerical mistake, just get them to remove it completely.
