    Good Morning,

I will start with a quick intro.
I have been a longtime lurker, first time poster.
After a messy divorce ruined my credit.
I started doing my own credit repair 6 months ago and went from approx 480 to 700+ on all three bureau's.
I wish I would have had this board when I started.
I am helping a friend fix his credit after a BK.
He has a brother with great credit and some large revolving credit accounts that he was added to as an authorized user on almost 2.5 months ago. None of the accounts are appearing on any of his bureau's. My friend told me that he believes the only way that this technique works is if you are added as an AU when the account is opened, and the accounts will not be added to your bureau is you are added as an AU after the account is active.
What is the best way to move forward and have these accounts put on his bureau's? Contact the Creditor or the CRA. Additionally are there are letters or articles that address this specifially?

    Thank you,

    Vegasx

Not necessarily, on DH's report JC Penneys had him listed as an AU, and I opened it 4 years before I met him :)

Who are the creditors. We might be able to tell you the best course of action, or tell you if it just ain't gonna happen.

I think one of the accounts is a large CC with Chase 8-10k limit, I am not sure of the other, but I know it is a large bank.
What dictates if a creditor will add a AU to account, is there some type of criteria?
I am in the Auto business so I see credit all day long and now that I know about credit repair, I am always helping people.
I would love to pass this knowledge on.
