I would like to add a family member as an authorized user on several of my CCs to help build their credit. However, the particular family member under discussion is NOT at all well-liked by my wife. Since my wife has occasion to see my CC statements (I really do not want to hide them), and she may or may not approve of this arrangement (most likely NOT, I am predicting) Therefore, my question is whether the name of an authorized user typically appears on monthly CC statements. Any insight or experience that you can share concerning this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
