My bankruptcy was discharged in March and at that time I intended to keep my auto lease. I've always been on time with the payments (even before BK). I pulled my experian CR on Saturday and what do I see? The auto lease was included in BK and none of my ontime payments are reported. Since I did not reaffirm, I'm thinking about stop making the auto lease payments and buy a used car for cash. If I do this, can they report a repo on my CR? Any advice would be helpful.
I had a auto lease when I filed for BK7.I did reafirm.However the lease company still showed included in bankruptcy.I had never been late on any payments.I recently pulled my CR and found that once the lease was now paid in full they changed it to paid as agreed.I just retured the car and got another lease with no questions asked.
