Any help with obtaining an auto loan with a 550-575 credit score? Who out there will do this without a cosigner and what would be the terms? I see a lot of agencies out there who claim to be able to do this, but since I don't want to put any more hard inquiries on my credit report, I'd rather have some knowledge of which ones might work before attempting this. Thanks!
My scores were within that range and I sent an application to Eloan.com who couldn't approve me but forwarded my application to Roadloans.com and they were able to approve me. This was for a refinance though. Household originally financed my car (dealer financing) at 22% (brand new car). Roadloans beat that amount by so much it was hard not to refinance and although my payments went up about $30 a month, the number of months came down substantially from 60 to 47 months. I pay and will continue to pay 2 car payments a month and more to Roadloans so that I can get this account paid off in less than 2 years. You could try People's First. I've never been able to get a loan with them but they just recently signed a deal with Household to accept people that meet Household's criteria. I hear it's easier than appling with Household directly. Other than that you can try Roadloans and Eloan. Someone else might have other suggestions.
I was approved last week with E-Loan, they also assigned it to Roadloans. My EQ score was 510, lots of negatives, but all auto tradelines are positive. The whole process only took 24 hours. Interest rate is 12.95 %. Min amount is $7500, max is $22,000. Must purchase through a franchised dealer. Refrences, paystub, license, phone bill and proof of insurance must be faxed to them. You can then download your acceptance cert right on-line. Great company to work with. You will have 3 inq though. E-Loan, Roadloans and Americredit. All on EQ. Good Luck.
Well... Apparently they have some other criteria that I do not meet. Thank you for your recent loan application to RoadLoans.com. After careful review of your application we are not able to extend any credit to you, at this time. We will be mailing you a letter detailing the reason(s) for our decision. If you still have questions after receiving this letter please do not hesitate to contact us. This e-mail is an automated response - please do not hit reply, as your response will not get read. Thank you for considering RoadLoans.com. I got that from 2 other lenders at there as well. =\
Re: Well... I got the same response from Roadloans directly but I went through Eloan and was approved. There was another company something called Auto Benefits Group ?? pulled my Equifax report but couldn't approve me only because there was no score at the time. This was quite a while ago, I'll see if I can find a website for them.
Re: Well... I had originally gone through lendingtree.com and was denied by roadloans.. would there be any benifit to trying to go through Eloan?
