I got one peice of good news when I checked my Experian report. I made 35 out of 36 payments on my 1996 Honda lease. But I turned the car in a month early with some high miles on it and included the car in my Chap 7 B.K. Honda acted like nothing happened and refunded me my security deposit a couple of months later. ( I still get ads asking me to lease another Honda I guess since I had 2 leases with them.

Anyway, the Experian report shows the lease as "open" and reports that 35 payments have been made. I had expected the lease to be considered a repo. Did I just get lucky? I think I should leave this account alone for the next few years so that the entry does not get changed to a repo. What do you guys think?
