    <HTML>Dear Members,

Lately, the personal attacks on Straight Talk have been getting out of hand.

While we recognize that the dynamics of a public forum can be provocative and often charged with emotion, especially a forum as busy as Straight Talk, we want to remind you that this board is only as good as its members and the messages they post.

We certainly appreciate the vibrant community that has shaped itself around Straight Talk. The information you volunteer on the board will help others long after you stop visiting it. During your stay it is imperative to remember that *you* dictate the quality of this board.

This board has had its share of golden eras and dark ages. Together with your help we want to insure that Straight Talk remains the friendliest, most informative and helpful public credit forum anywhere on the Net.

Towards that end we ask each and every one of you to please act respectful towards one another, and to relax on newcomers and regulars alike. There are many more people reading the messages than are posting. They do not feel comfortable yet. It is up to us to change that.

Even the most benign or harmless post can trigger a violent response from others that results in long-winded, off-topic threads from which nobody benefits. If others find personal messages disruptive, try email. If someone is trolling the board, ignore them and give us a chance to clean up the posts. We will do whatever it takes to keep the board concise, on-topic, and a source of inspiration to others. It is only through an uncompromising and cooperative spirit that this board can live up to its full potential.

    Thank you for your time.

    Sincerely,
    pbm
