Hello.. My fiancee is in process of researching implants and what she is going to go through the company doing the procedure to get financing...Is that going to be considered an installment loan..Job cost $6500 ?? How will it show up on her credit reports..We are looking to buy a home next year..She has 4 credit cards and a auto loan..She will be placing $4000 down so technically she will finance $2500..
Since they will be "installed", I would say installment loan. I doubt that they would be "revolving", and if so, I would like to see....
Funny..But seriously, I am hoping that they will show up on her cc bureau..Not sure though because it is a very small loan and I always here that sometimes some companies do not report unless of course it is sent to a collectiion agency..She purchased 2 car loans through her credit union in the 90s and neither of them reported which has not helped her because she has only had 2 cc cards show up on her file in the past 10 years not including the ones that she just opened last year..Just trying to get some history added to her credit reports..
getsmart, It has ben suggested on this board that installment accounts from finance companies can actually hurt - not help - your credit score. You should check out a thread called "credit rescoring" for more information. I am a testament to how badly these accounts hurt, since I was recently denied credit b/c I had too many finance company installment accounts (student loans).
U guys are funny ..........Technically I could pay cash for them but I am trying to find away to use this to have something else on her credit reports..We are buying a home next year and thanks to this board I had no credit last year and since April have about 8 CCs and a new car loan..Scores were around 519 and now they range from 560 to 605..Her scores last year were 580 to 615 and now they are 612 to 640...Trying to do whatever we can to get to 680 or higher by next April...
Has anyone else financed any type of cosmetic surgery before ??? How much and which company did finance with ?? Does it show up on credit reports as a personal loan ??
I thought about that too but with her scores not being over 650 as yet..I don't want to take the risk of wasting an inquiry..
Maybe you should consider some other methods, hold off on the boob job, cause you'll need the $$ for the new house. Then you can after a bit get a home-equity loan for the boobs and at least get a tax advantage for "home improvements"
Could the breasts be used as collateral? I've seen alot of women get what they want simply by displaying a nice pair. So when they say 'boobs' are they referring to the breasts themselves or the guys that drool over them?
