Thanks to everybody! Read all the old posts, learned a TON and applied for B of A, approved for 1000 CL (hey, it's a start) at 9.9%

    Congratulations!

BofA is a pretty good bank to work with. The limit increases aren't nearly as fast as some, and some of the CSRs aren't great, but all in all they're not too bad.

It's certainly a good place to start, far from subprime!

I don't think so Hedwig, because in less than 2 years my credit limit on my Platinum Visa reached $25.000 and my APR is at 7.90 fixed now. Bank of America is great bank to do business with.

    CONGRATULATIONS Lainie5374 !!!!

My brother in law has the gold version. He BT the amount for a life of loan rate and has yet to make a single charge.

His CL has not changed but he does not care. The online website is decent and paymets are quick to hit his account.

    Best regards,
    Mirage

I was told that after $15,000 the CLI are HARDER to get..."PRE-APPROVED" ONES THAT IS...

"IF" you want to give them PERMISSION to PULL...YOU CAN GET ALL YOU WANT...BUT that VIOLATES my rules...ALWAYS TRY FOR A "PRE-APPROVED" INCREASE FIRST!!!

    George,

I received all increases just by calling regular customer service and they never pulled hard.

    $8000 start>>>$12000>>>$15000>>>$25000 now

Chase pulled hard most the time, except last time few days ago when I got $3500 from customer service.

But Bank of America and American Express never pulled hard for my increases.

    Mirage,
Lately I don't use my Bank of America Platinum Visa because there is no reward program on it. I use my AmEx Blue almost exclusively. BofA and Chase when AmEx is not accepted.

Anyone been approved for BOA through PFB if they had a prior BOA card included in BK, bit BK is off now and reports are clean with high scores?

    Who responded to your requests?
I'm wondering if Robin is still managing these requests.

    Siren -

Marie approved my request. She called me at home to tell me if I needed anything "ever" to call her personally!

B of A followed up with a nice letter as well. So far, I'm impressed. Granted, it's only been a week :)!!
