To add to Mirage's Bank One thread, does anyone know if Bank of America credit cards have a blacklist?

    oh yes they do.

auto denial - you have been a bad boy, is what it said to me ;)

was actually a check bounce that cross referenced into their credit card database.

    they sure do keep notes.

Any idea how long one remains in the list? Can it be overridden by PFB?

I bet it can. Friend bounced a few checks, even could not get a checking acct. at BofA. Many years later, approved for a BofA gold card. No PFB required. Sure they take notes, after a while it just doesn't matter anymore, UNLIKE SEARS :)

Can anyone confirm or deny the existence of the BoA blacklist if you are trying to get a new CC but had a past CC with them go bad -- 8 years ago?

(All reports are clean now with hight scores and it has been 7 years)
