anyone getting B on equifax still with the new format AND with the '4-pull-a-year' account? sorry if this has been asked before, but I'd like to find out because I've got like 170 inquiries (only like 10 of these are hards) at this point i think and nothing has happened (using PG). thanks
I don't know if that's what I experienced today. I had a TU inq from 11/27/01 fall off today. There was a set of 3 hards from Cap 1 on that day and the one from TU is gone. I use PG and have pulled almost daily since the very end of Aug. I'll pull again tomorrow and see what happens.
that 11-01 inquiry fell off because it hit its 2 year mark. PG is a little slow a somethings everynow and then. usually on the 1st of the month inquiries will fall off that hit the 2 year mark and 6 month mark inquiries dont matter anymore when applying for credit. i thing 'B' doesnt work now.
Re: Re: B on equifax still? I thought that at first, but the other 2 of the 'trifecta' that Cap 1 pulled on that day remain. Only the one from TU dropped.
Re: Re: B on equifax still? Experian doesn't remove old inq's until the end of the 24th month or beginning of the 25th month. I believe Equifax also does this. TU removes them at the beginning of the 24th month.

Re: Re: B on equifax still? i wish B would work on EXP..i have a ton there. my EQ is up to 175 inq's and no B yet (with PG pulls) TU I get B all the time, randomly..very weird..but dont care about TU really. Noone around here seems to pull TU. thanks.

"IF" you DISPUTE only one thing at a time...you will get more CRA inquires and that MAY give you "B" It takes longer to fix your credit report...BUT the question was about "B" helping with inquires... You MAY get more "B" if you request a credit report now and then...(EVEN IF YOU DON'T NEED IT) if it is FREE...why not???
Re: Re: B on equifax still? It's definitely working on TU. One that was a month old just slipped off - TU's clean again. Had my 2nd most recent fall off on EQ - newest remains, and two year old ones remain. Weird.

Some people are saying over 120... who do I belive? I am using PG pulling every day, also pulling on EQ and EX not TU.(signed up for the gold monitoring) Just want to know how long it takes... i got over 20 hard I am trying to get rid of. What about the promo inqs? Do those count as soft?

Re: Re: Re: Re: B on equifax still? its not just how many inquiries but how long your credit file is.. how many accounts how many former address how many employers... so if you have 1 of all of those and only a few accounts your "b" wouldnt start for awhile.. how ever like me I have my name 3 previous addresses 2 employers and over 50 accounts i always see bumpage around 90 inquiries then every now an then I get a massive deletetion of half my soft inquiries and I start all over... pull, pull, pull, pull, bump bump no bump pull pull pull pull no bump then bump bump bump yea! no more inquiries then apply apply apply refi apply refi apply new car and this is my cycle.. kev
